Hollow ice cube machines
Hollow ice cubes (also called 'bullet ice' or 'bullit ice') have a flat bottom and are hollow inside. It therefore resembles a bullet (hence 'bullet'). Properties of hollow ice cubes are that they are less 'full' than some other types, and therefore melt faster. On the other hand, it is also faster (and therefore cheaper) to make.

Great! The downsides are the weight, but that gives you a powerful motor. It is also quite a hassle to clean up the small amount of vodka that you have to put between the two mixing bowls to prevent freezing. On the positive side, the ice cream is ready in 20 minutes.
